Migrating 43,000 notes from Evernote to Notion - gotchas & can it scale?

I am a long-term Evernote user with nearly 43K notes clipped and written.
I use it heavily on Mac and Windows desktop and iPhone, where I have some notebooks stored offline.
On the iPhone, Evernote struggles unless you carefully keep opening the app to let it sync. With this volume of notes, even the metadata checking seems to impose significant comms overhead. That results in a jerky, unusable experience for writing notes. If Notion's mobile client can survive this volume, it is even more attractive.

As a startup, with recent thoughts on acquisition or expanding into a team, I'm wondering if it makes more sense to split Notion use into the startup being one user and having a separate personal account. That could get expensive and it seems their migration is straightforward so could defer this decision to moving my stuff later.

The single biggest restriction on Notion that bothers me right now is the weak offline support. After that, it's probably the 30 days version history. When I have had to use Evernote's versioning it's almost always been going back much earlier than that.

I forgot to note that the thing which may tip the balance is the recent discussion here on using Markdown for editing. Notion was cited multiple times for great Markdown support and I just tried writing a page with it - things flow!
